Stayed for 3 days while on an ATV trip. Was skeptical when we say how small the parking lot was; we had 4 trailers to try and park, aside from other motel guests with boats. The owner jokes “we’ll figure it out!” And we did! When we walked in the room, it was so clean! The beds have nice quilts, instead of the typical polyester bedspreads. The bathroom is small and the floor reminds me of high school pool showers, but that wasn’t a deal breaker! They had one of the better showers I have had in a motel. The water pressure was outstanding, as was the temperature. It was close to ATV trails and walking distance to multiple places to eat! The only drawback was the heat; so hot, even with the heat turned all the way down; but definitely not a deal breaker! If we ever are in the area again, I’m staying here!
Top notch room for the price. Clean room, comfortable bed, and the A/C didn't smell of mold. Beautiful setting. Nice antique-modern neon sign. Staff were exceptionally courteous, and waited an extra 20 minutes after closing for me. Sad, last time I was there, the sign wasn't lighting much anymore. We need to save that sign! Make it glow brightly again!
Despite being on a major highway the room was quiet and very comfy. Room was very clean, beds are comfortable, nice lake view from many of the units. Hosts are very friendly and great people. Disappointed that I had to leave after one night. Great place.
I love this place! It's a mix between vintage and rustic. It's on Little Muskie Lake and you can take a row boat out for free to go fishing or fish from the pier. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a small fridge and microwave, and a large flat screen tv that we never even turned on but it's there if you want it! You can't beat the price and the owners are good people. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so!
